Franz Habermacher, born 1956, is a trained bookbinder. Shortly after the apprenticeship he attended evening classes at the School of Applied Arts Lucerne. He took courses of a Parisian artist and learned the whole range of painting from the basics to oil painting. As a graduation, Franz Habermacher graduated from the Atelier-Chef-Kurs in 2002 and founded the Habi Art School (www.habi-art.ch). Since then he gives courses in drawing and painting.
 
The last few years discovered Franz Habermacher his love for watercolor. Painting tours took him to different places in Germany and abroad. Watercolor painting is a technique that requires a lot of tact. The paint sometimes does what it wants. A mix of steering and running is the best technique. A motif becomes interesting with watercolor only when something new, mystical and magical arises from it. I will gladly show you this magic on the spot and answer your questions.
